Sales of Bigger Flats in Kolkata Are On A Hike!

JLL India released its sales data for the first quarter of 2022 including only the apartments sales from major cities. This data shows that apartments that were sold in the price bracket of 1 to 1.5 crores increased remarkably from 6187 units to 3450 units between January and March 2022. While the apartments price more than 1.5 crores boosted from 2544 units to 4801 units in the same month period. 

JLL India also said the total apartments sold across the seven Indian cities of Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, and Bengaluru had increased to over 51849 units from 28352 units sold last year between January and March. 

Overall the increase in sales of Bigger Flats in Kolkata for the period of January to March significantly crossed the average quarterly sales mark which was observed prior to the COVID-19 period by 148%.
