A site nestled in the heart of the metropolis yet tucked away from it’s maddening cacophony, Vyom is an estate handcrafted to ensure that the residents cherish the blessings Mother Nature offers to the fullest. The natural pond
At Vyom, PS Group has not only conserved a massive natural pond, but also resuscitated it with it’s rich biodiversity as a gift to the residents. The resultant self-sustainable pond ecosystem is more than just a treat to the eyes. It adds a rejuvenating sense of calmness and positive energy throughout.
The vegetation along the pond banks is dense and tropical in nature, with broad leaves which not only yield’s aesthetic appeal but also, soaks up the pollution to a great extent.
The mounds and gardens
Vyom is a kaleidoscope of colors, patterns, shapes and forms. The mounds and gardens of Vyom are adorned with over 500 trees and shrubs. One will find flowering trees such as Jarul, Ashoka, Shiuli, Palash, Bakula, Plumeria alba, Plumeria rubra, Tabebuia rosea, Callistemon myrtaceae, Delonix regia, Brownea ariza, Michelia champaca, African tulip, Bauhinia blakeana, Cassia roxburghii, etc. as well as fruit-bearing trees such as Mango, Guava, Jackfruit, Bael, etc.
Residents also have access to a wide variety of healing herbs in their backyard like Neem trees (Neem is a popular medicinal herb in Ayurveda; it is an effective anti-viral and anti-bacterial. Neem purifies the blood, detoxifies the body, cures ulcers, prevents damage caused by free radicals in the body and treats insect bites).
The African tulip (Extracts of bark, leaves and flowers are used to treat malaria, diabetes mellitus, gastrointestinal disorders, ulcers, skin diseases, wounds, fever, liver complaints and as a poison antidote), Bael ( It is used to cure diabetes, high cholesterol, diarrhea and dysentery, respiratory infection, Bael fruit juice has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral and anti-inflammatory) just to name a few.
The Bamboo forest
Studies have shown that a field of bamboo releases 35 percent more oxygen than an equivalent timber forest. Vyom features a delightful bamboo grove where a short walk will yield a wide array of physiological and psychological benefits. A morning stroll or call it- the Japanese practice of ‘forest bathing’ at this Bamboo forest is sure to lower the heart rate and blood pressure, boost the immune system, reduce stress and improve overall feelings of well being.
